MAY 2023 Cosmic Weather Report for ALL ZODIAC SIGNS!

May ushers in with what seems to be like a thousand Suns glaring all at once. It walks in with as much fanfare as it always does, with pawis everywhere and our tropical skins pricked by warmth in angry steroids. As all Filipinos know all too well, May brings in the HEAT, and this heat, once exorcised in beaches and trips to Los Baños, now settles heavily in public classrooms, where students play the game of “who gets the heatstroke first?”. For the lucky few who have access to air conditioning, air conditioners flexing their best features now just reach bare minimum; after all, it’s impossible to make the air cold – the task now is simply to make the heat bearable.

This Month’s cosmic weather is divided into 2 parts, with the first half indulging this glorious heat, parang nanunulsol yung init. Mercury remains retrograde for the first 2 weeks, creating confusion that may cause plenty of hot heads and heated exchanges, as if the world is purposefully daring to match our collective emotional climates with the (almost) violent heat of a summer under El niño. To add to the challenge, an intense emotional soup heads to a boil the first week of May, with a final, profoundly intense eclipse happening in the sign of Scorpio, finally ending the long Eclipse cycle in the Taurus/Scorpio axis. This is a South Node Lunar Eclipse, extremely potent in taking away that which no longer serves, in the area of life that it touches. These are energetic tornados that happen, clearing whatever is in its path. And how we deal with this reset – hopeful or hopeless, it doesn’t matter. Change is bound to happen.

Opposite Uranus, this eclipse also carries with it erratic wildcard energy that is definitely not for the faint hearted. Unexpected events may unfold within the next 6 months, offering the final puzzle piece that completes a transformative process that was set in motion for us all, starting late 2021. The best course of action, as with any eclipse, is to let it pass, and to ride the waves that come with it with least resistance, and with as much dignity as one could muster.

Those with personal planets and points from 10°- 20° of FIXED SIGNS (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius)  will feel this eclipse profoundly, most especially those born on these dates:

TAURUS: April 30 – May 10

LEO: August 2 – August 12

SCORPIO: November 2 – November 12

AQUARIUS: January 30 – February 9

The second half of the month is a big Pivot from this allegorical inferno. Some relief, at last! JUPITER, the planet of luck and abundance finally reaches his heat threshold and leaves fiery Aries, rallying ito Taurus for the first time in 11 years! The energy shift is palpable. A beaten down part of our charts develops a pulse again, and a path to healing emerges. At the same time, an overheated part of our chart cools down considerably, and although externally, things are still incredibly feverish, our internal airconditioners are finally showing signs of life again. We realize that all is not lost against this heat, and once more, we stand a fighting chance in overcoming it. ❤

For really specific details on how this month’s Cosmic Weather may affect you, you will need your exact birth time, birth place, and a competent astrologer who can compute and interpret your charts. However, knowing the general energies at play can greatly assist in planning ahead. Take note: that forecast below is based on very general cosmic weather, catered to a broad audience. Personal discretion should be applied over everything else! With that being said –
