HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
We made it all to another year, something to indeed celebrate! The past year has been a reintroduction to society, the year we were given back to each other after a long battle with the pandemic. A full year of adjustment, as we worked hard to reintegrate ourselves back to the world at large. It was almost like a blossoming after a long hard hibernation period.
For us here in the Philippines, this was a year where most of us, if not all, were reacquainted with what our core belief systems are, and what we are willing to fight for, in the name of truth and justice. Freedom is a rediscovered mutable elixir that shape-shifted with whatever our personal containers were. If we look through the lens of intention, we would see that our roads all lead to a path that converges eventually, a valuable reminder that we all are fighting for the same things, the same principles, the same love. Little by little we will find common ground, but for now, what is important is that the flames were ignited, and that the sparks are not going away.
2023 is a year that opens the door out of the waiting area we’ve been stuck in, since the Saturn-Pluto conjunction happened, January of 2020. We can confidently say that our cultural experiences and life as we know it is completely different from how it was 3 years ago, and even though things are “normalizing”, what we are going back to is hardly the life we left behind. It can’t be. MAJOR Planetary shifts happen this year, jumpstarting the culmination of this place in time that marks the border that sliced the ‘old world’ and the ‘new world’.
Four important cosmic events stand out this year, creating the background for everything else that will transpire. First and most notable of all is the ingress of powerhouse PLUTO, into the sign of the fixed air, AQUARIUS, the sign of the dignified water bearer. An era that reinforces AIR energy commences, and for the first time we might actually feel welcomed to the future, where different rules may apply. Its stay is a cosmic ocular, however, feeling the space first, as it goes back to Capricorn a couple of times, still, before its uninterrupted transit by late 2024. There is so much to be said in line with this, for but now, it would suffice to know that PLUTO moves roughly 250 years around the zodiac. This event happens once in a lifetime, and based from previous transits, the effects of this transit is hardly a lingering echo but instead, a permanently etched tattoo in the psyche of humankind.
The second notable event is that SATURN changes signs, too! Saturn takes around 30 years to travel the zodiac, so this is a big event as well. After 5 years of traversing through his domicile signs of Capricorn and Aquarius where he is strong and powerful, Saturn then plunges headfirst to the ethereal depths of PISCES, where he may experience disorientation at the beginning. Saturn here eventually finds his bearings and puts order into the dispersed energy of Pisces, creating order and structure where it is hardest to build. In Pisces, the energies are a bit too flowy, and the ground is less solid and more shaky. A Saturn sets forth, it sends sends lessons of discipline to Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) for the next 3 years, and mishaps are to be expected along the way, so saddle up, Mutables!
JUPITER changes signs as he does annually, this time on to give some well needed aid in the sign of TAURUS, who has been going through it these past years, battered by Uranian lightnings, Saturnian lessons, and life changing Eclipses. Jupiter here helps rebuild the embattled Taurean landscape, allowing Taurus natives hopeful reprieve, and much needed healing. Confidence and hope may be regained by those who lost it, and relief can be granted especially to those who have struggled to keep up with the fast pace of change.
Lastly, the Lunar Nodes shift signs, too, this time entering the axis of ARIES and LIBRA. With the North Node highlighting Aries, lessons about authenticity and the importance of choosing your authentic self is fortified. The South Node in Libra encourages us to let go of unhealthy co-dependencies with external factors. We are encouraged to do away with over calculations, as it eventually clouds the honest intentions we usually begin with.
To all of you, happy New Year! A new set of adventures are up ahead, for us to conquer together. Embrace your weaknesses and celebrate your strengths. Accept all your regrets, for they are now lessons that fortify your foundation for this wonderful year ahead of us. Remember to always be grateful to be given front row seats to witness the miracle of life and all the magic it contains! ♥️At the end of this all, everything we experience, the good and the challenging, all eventually become blessings, if we zoom out far enough. How lucky we all are, to live, laugh and learn.
You are here, you are beautiful, you made it!
