December came without warning. One moment it was mid year, and the next moment, you look around and realize that the air is a bit cooler, and yes, Christmas really is right around the corner. Time has gone turbo speed, it seems like, a far cry from the energy circa 2020, when years and years worth of events piled up and crammed into months upon months that neever seemed to end. Days stretched out infinitely back then, incessant and unending.
For the first time in years, it’s truly beginning to look a lot like Christmas, again, finally! Malls are open, live shows are back, restrictions are very minimal compared to what we had prior. Holiday gatherings are allowed again, and the laughter present now, the polarizing political landscape, the losses and gains of businesses, and so many other current issues mellow out memories of how, just a couple of years ago, we weren’t even allowed to gather with each other, in fear of infecting or being infected by a virus that seemed to have come straight out of science fiction. It helps to be reminded that we are not completely out of the woods yet, thats for sure, so vigilance is still important!
By mid month, Jupiter leaves Pisces for good, at least for the next 12 years, as it re-enters fiery Aries, pressing play to its paused journey through the sign of the warrior. We end the year with renewed passion and fervor, indeed a great tone to welcome the new year by. However, Mercury turns retrograde late in the month, and most of us may experience a bit of a fog with how we communicate. With Mars still retrograde in Gemini, it’s easy to lose our patience and also, our drive. Miscalculations that lead to a confession may take place, and though it can be tricky emotionally, it would be great to zoom out a bit more and be reminded of all the blessings we may fail to take into account.
We made it through the toughest point and soldiered through to the storm to eventually arrive at this point, where Christmas looks like Christmas again. Christmas feels like Christmas again. Do not forget to look back with love and gratitude, dear reader, for not everyone is lucky to have made it as far as we have. Remember to be kind to everyone you encounter, including yourself, as the cosmic weather is still a bit rough. With that being said, congratulations to us all, we made it through another year! Now, on to the next! ❤
