On Social Distancing, Quarantines and Lockdowns
Late last month, Saturn came back to its Airy home for the first time, since 1993. Roughly 27 years have passed since it left. It will stay in Aquarius until July, when it retrogrades back to Capricorn. It re-enters Aquarius on December, staying there until March 2023.
Saturn’s ingress into Aquarius marks a teaser period on the themes that we, humanity as a whole, are to experience from 2021- 2023. The goal of this process is to rebuild social structures na inclusive, hindi pang mayaman, hindi pang mahirap. Pang tao.
Aquarius is all about the the French ideals of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Pantay-pantay tayo, pang lahatan. We give so much adulation and millions of collective resources towards celebrities, politicians, and capitalists, only to see that when it really maters, we survive because of the people doing the groundwork. We clearly see now, how important and how integral the service industry is, our farmers, our delivery men, and our healthcare workers, most especially. Sila Ang bumubuhay satin ngayon. Saturn in Aquarius. We are tested (Saturn) to the brink of isolation and distance, in order for us to understand the true meaning of equality, of freedom, the true value of friendship, and the true needs of our collective (Aquarius). This is one lesson, out of so many. Things are changing. We are in the crossroads, and after this year, we will never be the same again. Life will never be the same again.
The effects of the recent Saturn-Pluto conjunction last January 12, will stay with us throughout the year. It is interesting to note though that amongst other manifestations, historically, epidemics are known to have sprung out around Saturn-Pluto conjunctions. The last conjunction was in Libra during the early ’80s, was when the HIV pandemic broke out.
So many transits are on high activation, especially during the first week of the month, so please take good care of yourself. Stay inside. Read. Observe. There is a big lesson here to be learned, and it’s best we learn it. Para satin din ito.
